Ralph Hicks (b. 1976) has been a part of the greater Houston area since 1979, when the booming construction industry brought his father to Texas from Memphis, TN. With memories of Oilers Love Ya Blue ice cream and Nolan Ryan shutouts, Ralph is a die hard Houston fan through and through.
Along with 19 years as a public school band director, Ralph founded the nonprofit group drumming corporation Let Them Drum, providing recreational and therapeutic group drumming experiences for all ages and abilities to now over 350 members. These deep roots in the community have given him an opportunity to form close relationships with local businesses, entertainment venues, social services programs, public educators, and school district administration. Ralph became a licensed real estate agent in 2019.
“Having such an extensive network throughout the community, the transition to real estate felt like a natural progression.” Ralph finds immense joy showcasing the essence of what makes a community a “village”, strongly believing the opportunities are there for everyone if you know where to look. With a culture so rich in diversity such as greater Houston, its character and vibrant personality simply must be experienced!
Ralph currently resides in Magnolia, TX with his wife, two children, and two dogs, spending his free time drumming with people from all walks of life.
“My connection to the community keeps me informed of the latest opportunities for a better life. Let’s get together and find your village.”
